DGCX MSCI INDIA INDEX


The MSCI India index is a free float adjusted market capitalization weighted index designed to track the equity market performance of listed Indian equities. The index is calculated based on the MSCI Global Investmentable Market Indexes Methodology, targeting a free float market capitalization of 85%. The index has a base date of Dec 31st, 1992.

MSCI India (USD, NTR) index and the MSCI India (INR, PRICE) index futures are the new addition to the equity suite of products on DGCX.

MSCI INDIA (USD, NTR) index: The Total Returns index takes into account both the price performance and the dividend payments and is calculated in USD terms.

MSCI INDIA (INR, PRICE) index: The Price Return index that only takes into account the price performance of constituent stocks in local currency (INR).
